MASSAGES
Massages have an effect that goes far beyond physical well-being – they are a form of therapy for our whole being
Traditional massage
Classic massage is a holistic method for relaxing or energising your body. Targeted techniques relieve tense and knotted muscles, improve blood circulation, stimulate the metabolism and restore your natural vitality.
Classic massage can be used on its own or combined with other methods. It forms the basis of most treatments and can be used for both medical purposes and relaxation.
A massage can be particularly helpful for:
- Increasing local blood circulation
- Lowering blood pressure and heart rate
- Muscle relaxation
- Loosening adhesions and scar tissue
- Improved wound healing
- Pain relief
- Influencing internal organs via reflex pathways
- Mental relaxation Stress reduction
- Reduction of stress
- Improved cellular metabolism in the tissue
- Relaxation of the skin and connective tissue
- Positive influence on the autonomic nervous system
Sports massage
Sports massage focuses on prevention – to avoid sports-related injuries – and on speeding up the body’s recovery after exercise.
Various massage techniques are used to increase blood flow to the muscles. This increased blood flow delivers more oxygen to the muscles and stimulates muscular metabolism.
Among other benefits, metabolic waste products are eliminated more effectively and quickly, whilst muscle strength and endurance are enhanced. This helps to maximise sporting performance and minimise the risk of injury.
Functional and Mobilisation Massage
Functional and mobilisation massage is a particularly effective technique for relieving muscle tension and efficiently treating adhesions in the tissue. Traditional massage techniques are combined with functional joint mobilisation and stretching of myofascial structures, which leads to greater freedom of movement and reduced pain, promotes blood circulation and optimally supports muscular regeneration.
Pregnancy massage
Pregnancy is a magical time – but it also puts your body under strain. A sore lower back, heavy legs, or simply the need for some deep relaxation? With a pregnancy massage, you take centre stage. Your body and mind are deeply relaxed, and stress hormones are reduced. The elasticity and suppleness of your skin and tissues are improved, muscle tension is eased, and pressure is relieved from joints that are under particular strain.
Best of all: thanks to a professional massage table with a lowerable belly section, you can finally lie on your stomach again, completely relaxed and safe! No pressure on the baby, no arching of the lower back – just pure relief.
A pregnancy massage can be particularly helpful for:
- Relaxation during periods of stress and tension
- Relief from back, joint and headaches
- Relaxing painful, overworked muscle groups
- Reducing water retention
- Preventing stretch marks
- Improved sleep quality
- Deep relaxation for you and your baby
Wood-i® easy Vibration Massage
With the Wood-i® easy, I incorporate a modern vibration and massage device into my treatments. High-frequency vibrations are transmitted deep into the tissue, either over a wide area or with pinpoint accuracy. The vibration and massage device works primarily through a combination of high-frequency vibration technology and mechanical pressure and stretching stimuli. Unlike conventional massage guns, which use hard, vertical strokes, the patented Wood-i® method utilises gentle sideways pulses. It is applied without oil, either directly on the skin or over clothing, and relieves muscle tension throughout the body.
A treatment with the Wood-i® easy can be particularly helpful for:
- Rapid relief of deep-seated muscle tension
- Loosening of adhesions in connective tissue
- Stimulating lymphatic flow and local blood circulation
Gentle regeneration: ideal for athletes, people who sit for long periods and those with chronic tension
